180830-N-EA818-0530 ATLANTIC OCEAN (Aug. 30, 2018) Chief (select) Naval Aircrewman (Helicopter) Joel James, assigned to the "Dragon Slayers" of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 11, observes from an MH-60S Seahawk helicopter as ships assigned to the Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group and the Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group transit the sea in formation while conducting dual-carrier sustainment operations. In addition to demonstrating the Navy's inherent flexibility and scalability, this evolution provides the opportunity to conduct complex, multi-unit training to enhance maritime interoperability and combat readiness; prepare the Navy to protect our homeland; and preserve and promote peace anywhere around the world.
