Lt. Gen. Eric Smith asks Lance Cpl. Nathaniel Lagoydespaw about the dishes he prepared for the Food Specialist of the Quarter competition at Camp Kinser, Okinawa, Japan, Aug. 31, 2018. Smith is the commanding general of III Marine Expeditionary Force. Lagoydespaw is a food service specialist with Headquarters Battalion, 3rd Marine Division and is a native of Syracuse, New York.
