Governor Ma'moon Sami al-Alwani Speaks with Mayor Saad Awad Rashid and other leaders of the city of Al Fallujah on May 28, 2007. Second Marine Expeditionary Force (II MEF) leaders were on hand to assist the Iraqi leaders during a Fallujah City Council Meeting. II MEF is deployed with Multi National Force - West in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in the Al Anbar province of Iraq to develop Iraqi security forces, facilitate the development of official rule of law through democratic reforms, and continue the development of a market based economy centered on Iraqi reconstruction.
