An F-16 Fighting Falcon from the 8th Fighter Squadron, Holloman Air Force Base, N.M., prepares to taxi at Portland Air National Guard Base, Ore. Aug. 21, 2018, to conduct dissimilar air combat training (DACT) with the 142nd Fighter Wing's F-15 Eagles and F-35 Lightning II aircraft on station for the exercise. DACT provides realistic combat scenarios for pilots to hone advanced aerial tactics that may be used against potential adversaries.
