Seaman Recruit Griffin Foster, assigned to Deck department 1st division, stands the aft lookout watch aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72). Lincoln is currently underway conducting a composite training unit exercise (COMPTUEX), which is designed to train sailors assigned to the ship, embarked air wing and other Lincoln Carrier Strike Group assets to function as a highly effective fighting force.
