An aircraft director leans against an F/A-18F Super Hornet assigned to the Bounty Hunters of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 2 between launch and recovery on the flight deck aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72). Lincoln is currently underway conducting a composite training unit exercise (COMPTUEX), which is designed to train Sailors assigned to the ship, embarked air wing and other Lincoln Carrier Strike Group assets to function as a highly effective fighting force.
