During the 2018 Navy Employer Recognition Event, civilian employers from across the U. S. observe a demonstration aboard Naval Amphibious Base Coronado, Calif. that included SEAL operators securing a high-value target in a simulated hostile environment while being provided direct close air support by Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 85. Selected employers were nominated by their Navy Reserve Sailor employees and invited to attend the one-day event that included a tour of USS Omaha (LCS 12), a static display of aircraft at Fleet Logistics Support Squadron (VR) 57 and the demonstration of combined capabilities of SEAL Team 17, Naval Special Warfare Group 11 and HSC-85.
