Patrick Washburn, son; Rosely Washburn, widow; Col. Stephen J. Riley, assistant commandant, Transportain School; and Timothy Washburn, son; cut ut the ribbon to celebrate renaming the Wylie Hall Auditorium to "Doc" Washburn Auditorium during a dedication ceremony July 27 at Wylie Hall. Washburn, who dedicated 44 years of his life to military and civil service, was a Vietnam veteran and Transportation School instructor who trained thousands in the Transportation Basic Officer Leadership Course and others at Joint Base Langley-Eustis.
