A pilot with the Blue Angels signs autographs during the Make-A-Wish and Balboa Children’s event of the annual 2011 Marine Corps Air Station Miramar Air Show Sept. 29. Children from Balboa Naval Medical Center San Diego and the Make-A-Wish Foundation were invited to meet the pilots of the Blue Angels after watching a private practice the day before the air show began.
