    EODMU5 and Australian Army Participate in Pyrocrab

    Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician 2nd Class Isaiah Cristobal, from Kailua Kona, Hawaii, attached to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit (EODMU) 5 conducts a visit, board, search and seizure operation aboard the maritime prepositioning ship USNS 1st Lt. Jack Lummus (T-AK 3011) during the unit level training ‘Pyrocrab’ at Apra Harbor, Guam, Aug. 15, 2018. Pyrocrab is a biennial unit level training that focuses on strengthening the relationships and enhancing interoperability between the U.S. Navy and Australian forces. EODMU-5 is assigned to Commander, Task Force 75, the primary expeditionary task force responsible for the planning and execution of coastal riverine operations, explosive ordnance disposal, diving engineering and construction, and underwater construction in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations.
