MINDANAO SEA – U.S. Marines with Marine Medium Tiltrotor squadron (VMM) 166 Reinforced, 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), and U.S. Navy Sailors with the Essex Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) move a CH-53E Super Stallion from VMM-166 into position for takeoff aboard the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD 2), during search and rescue operations for a missing Marine attached to the 13th MEU while on a regularly scheduled deployment of the Essex ARG and 13th MEU, August 12, 2018.
