“100 years of Courage,” held on Joint Base Lewis-McChord, August 9th, 2018.

The ceremony was to honor those who served and dedicated themselves over the past 100 years within I Corps. I Corps was activated on January 15th, 1918, in France during World War I, marking a great achievement of 100 years of honor, tradition and courage of units deploying, fighting, winning and innovating in complex wars and missions around the world.

The ceremony was followed by a retreat ceremony of the American flag to symbolize the end of celebrations for the “100 years of Courage.”
