Guantanamo Bay residents make it to the finish line and show their pirate attitude during the Guantanamo Bay Moral, Welfare and Recreation sponsored Pirates Day run Sept. 24. More than 120 Joint Task Force Guantanamo Troopers, NAVSTA sailors, and base residents participated in the two-mile run. The JTF conducts intelligence collection, analysis and dissemination for the protection of detainees and personnel working in JTF Guantanamo facilities and in support of the War on Terror. JTF Guantanamo provides support to the Office of Military Commissions, to law enforcement and to war crimes investigations. The JTF conducts planning for and, on order, responds to Caribbean mass migration operations. (JTF Guantanamo photo by U.S. Navy Mass Communication Specialist 1st Class Sally Hendricks)
