U.S. Naval Academy Pipes and Drums Commander, Midshipman 1st Class Jeremy Severson, conducts his final performance before graduation as a member of the Class of 2007. Officially recognized as a Brigade Support Activity in 1999, the Naval Academy Pipes and Drums is the Department of the Navy's only active pipe band. The 42-person group provides highland musical support to the Brigade of Midshipmen and the larger Naval Academy community, both on and off the Yard. Their performance was one of a series of events celebrating the graduation and commissioning of the Naval Academy Class of 2007.
