180808-N-GX781-0246 PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad and Tobago (Aug. 08, 2018) Distinguished visitors and crew aboard the Whidbey Island-Class Dock Landing Ship USS Gunston Hall (LSD 44) pose for a photo in the well deck of the ship. The ship is in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago for a scheduled port visit. The Gunston Hall is on deployment supporting Southern Seas, which is an annual collaborative deployment in the U.S. Southern Command area of responsibility where a task group will deploy to conduct a variety of exercises and multinational exchanges to enhance interoperability, increase regional stability, and build and maintain regional relationships with countries throughout the region through joint, multinational and interagency exchanges and cooperation.
