1st Sgt. Casillas, Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force – Southern Command’s command element first sergeant, speaks with students of the Dominican Republic Naval Infantry Advanced Course before a ten mile, culminating hike here, August 2. Students learned advanced infantry tactics and basic first-aid over the span of the four week course taught by SPMAGTF-SC Marines and Sailors and Dominican Republic officers. The Marines and sailors of SPMAGTF-SC are conducting security cooperation training and engineering projects alongside partner nation military forces in Central and South America.
