Cpl. Gabriela Caban, a Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 252 avionics technician and Santa Ana, Calif., native, asks a question to Gen. James F. Amos, commandant of the Marine Corps, in Marine Attack Squadron 513's hangar at Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan, Sept. 24. Kandahar was one of the many stops for Amos and Sgt. Maj. of the Marine Corps Micheal P. Barrett on their Afghanistan tour to visit the Marine units supporting NATO and International Security Assistance Force operations. "It was definitely motivating," said Caban. "It seems like he really cares about the well-being of the Marines out there." Amos and Barrett took Marines' questions pertaining to topics such as the joint strike fighter program and force allocation.
