U.S. Navy Builder 2nd Class Christian Makin, a Seabee with Construction Diving Detachment Charlie (CDDC) from Underwater Construction Team 2, inspects sheet piles on Wake Island on July 25, 2018. CDDC completed routine inspections in the haror on Wake after completing emergent repairs to Wake Island's off-shore fuel delivery system. CDDC is on the first stop of their six month deployment where they are providing construction, inspection, repair, and maintenance of coastal and ocean facilities in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet.
