'Diva Dog' Annie 'high-fives' Warrior Transition Brigade soldier, Sgt. Monica Hickmott of C Company, 1st Battalion, WTB. Annie and her other dog-therapy buddies were recently at Fort Hood to visit with WTB soldiers. Her owner, Pam Baggett-Wallis, said Annie was rescued from Austin's Town-Lake Animal Shelter and is thought to be from a puppy mill. Hickmott, who owns numerous four-legged pets including several horses, said therapy dogs like Annie help comfort and calm soldiers. Annie represents Divine Canines, a non-profit group out of Austin.
