An M1A1 Abrams tank with the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) provides overwatch during a range as part of the 22nd MEU Deployment for Training at Fort A.P. Hill, VA., July 29, 2018. The training allowed the Marines with Battalion Landing Team, 1st Battalion, 2nd Marines, 22nd MEU to incorporate tanks, amphibious assault vehicles, aircraft, indirect fire, mortars and infantry into a series of combined arms live-fire ranges in order to maintain proficiency for their upcoming deployment.
