    U.S. Navy Corpsman HM2 Matthew Schulten (left) and HN Guillermo Mendoza work with the Japanese Ground Self Defense Force to load a simulated casualty into a helicopter for a casualty evacuation drill during Artillery Relocation Training Program 18-2 July 30, 2018, on Camp YMA, Yausubetsu Maneuver Area, Hokkaido, Japan. The drill gave the corpsman an opportunity to work alongside the JGSDF to insure that in the event of a real scenario they could transport a patient to a nearby hospital in a timely manner. The corpsman are working with 3rd Battalion, 12th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, based out of Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan.
