A U.S. Marine with Combat Logistics Battalion 24, Combat Logistics Regiment 27, 2D Marine Logistics Group provides security while personnel search is conducted during the Non-Combatant Evacuation Operation aboard Fort Pickett, Va., Sept. 16. The Marine was providing security for any hostile activity that might have taken place during the NEO exercise. More than 900 Marines and sailors will take part in the Deployment for Training exercise at Fort Pickett, Sept. 6-23.
