The graduates of the Dari and Pashtu course stand proudly with their hard-earned certificates at the Joint Base Lewis-McChord’s Language Center’s graduation, Sept. 9. The soldiers from 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, attended the intense 16-week Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center in Presidio of Monterey course here. The course not only focused on language but also the culture of Afghanistan.
