Spc. Ashley Lagace recites the Warrior Ethos in Dari at the Joint Base Lewis-McChord’s Language Center’s graduation, Sept. 9. Lagace attended a 16-week Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center in Presidio of Monterey course. The Charlie Med, 2nd Brigade Support Battalion, medic spent seven hours a day, five days a week learning the Afghan dialect.
