Brigade Command Sgt. Maj. Andrew Connette awards Spc. Ashley Lagace, her certificate of completion from the Dari course at the Joint Base Lewis-McChord’s Language Center’s graduation, Sept. 9. Lagace attended the intense 16-week Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center in Presidio of the Monterey course here. She hopes that having the knowledge of this language will prepare her for any deployments that may come her way.
