Security Forces Airmen from the 128th Air Refueling Wing, Wisconsin Air National Guard, fire M4 Carbine semi-automatic rifles during a live-fire training exercise at McGee Range at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Ala., July 17, 2018. Security Forces Airmen commonly carry M4s throughout the duty day; therefore, this exercise sought to challenge Airmen by having a 203 under-barrel grenade launcher attached to the rifle. This ultimately shifted the rifle's weight distribution and, as a result, tested Airmen’s ability to adapt to the change and still hit the target. (Air National Guard photo by Staff Sgt. Morgan R.
