A joint service Color Guard from the U.S. Pacific Command stand at ease before a Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command Arrival Ceremony held to honor fallen U.S. personnel whose identifies remain unknown. The remains receiving full military honors represent losses associated with the Vietnam War and will be transported to the Central Identification Laboratory to undergo analyses. The ultimate goal of JPAC, and of the agencies involved in returning America's heroes home, is to achieve the fullest possible accounting of Americans lost during the nation's past conflicts.
