Pfc. Kevin Hadley, an Elkhart, Ind. native and forward observer with Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 2nd Battalion, 151st Infantry Regiment, Indiana National Guard, trains with a human immersion combat simulator that uses stress inoculation to improve performance in stressful environments at Camp Atterbury Joint Maneuver Training Center, Sept. 12, as a part of Bold Quest, a multi-national training exercise involving military members from 13 NATO countries from around the world. This kind of training uses goggles and various other sensors worn by the soldier to put him in a virtual simulation of a combat zone.
