Guardsmen from 2nd Battalion, 151st Infantry Regiment, Indiana National Guard, train with a human immersion combat simulator that uses stress inoculation to improve performance in stressful environments, Sept. 12, at Camp Atterbury Joint Maneuver Training Center as a part of Bold Quest, a multi-national training exercise involving 13 NATO countries from around the world. In human immersion training like this, goggles worn by each soldier put them in a simulated combat environment like the one being shown on this monitor from the system’s control room.
