Marine Corps Capt. Jared Sprunk stands ready to command the troops during an arrival ceremony hosted by the Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command to honor fallen U.S. personnel whose identifies remain unknown. The remains receiving full military honors represent losses associated with the Vietnam War and will be transported to the Central Identification Laboratory to undergo analyses. The ultimate goal of JPAC, and of the agencies involved in returning America's heroes home, is to achieve the fullest possible accounting of Americans lost during the nation's past conflicts.
