Thomas Niebel during a charge of command ceremony held on Friday, July 13, 2018 onboard the Historic ship USS Nautilus (SSN-571) in Groton Conn. The ceremony is a time-honored event to officially granted authority to Niebel to command the Pre-Commissioning Unit (PCU) Hyman G. Rickover (PCU-795).
