Derek Fields, a wrestler from Brunswick High School in Brunswick, Ohio, and Preston Decker, a wrestler from Keller High School in Keller, Texas, start their match during the 2018 U.S. Marine Corps Freestyle Finals in Fargo, North Dakota, July 15. The Freestyle Finals feature more than 30 top-level athletes from across the country. Wrestlers share many of the same values as those exhibited by Marines, so the Marine Corps Recruiting Command developed a national-level wrestling marketing relationship to engage the USMC’s target audience and their influencers.
