Gavin Jolley, a wrestler from Sherwood High School in Sherwood, Oregon, and Zeke Smith, a wrestler from Sauk Prairie High School in Sauk City, Wisconsin, start their match against each other during the 2018 U.S. Marine Corps Freestyle Finals in Fargo, North Dakota, July 15. The Freestyle Finals feature more than 30 top-level athletes from across the country. Wrestlers share many of the same values as those exhibited by Marines, so the Marine Corps Recruiting Command developed a national-level wrestling marketing relationship to engage the USMC’s target audience and their influencers.
