AQABA, Jordan (July 8, 2018) U.S. Marine Sgt. Wesley Huntress and U.S. Marine Cpl. Tyler Worley, assigned to the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit, put an MV-22 Osprey helicopter exhaust system back together the flight deck aboard the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7), July 8, 2018 during the ship’s mid-deployment voyage repair. Iwo Jima is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the central region, connecting the Mediterranean and the Pacific through the western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
