An Air Force C-130 Hercules aircraft, equipped with a Modular Airborne Firefighting System, drops slurry to support fire suppression efforts July 4, 2018. The mission is provided by the Department of Defense at the request of the U.S. Forest Service, which owns the MAFFS equipment and provides the slurry.
