BRUSSELS (July 12, 2018) – A participant attending the Inclusive Security breakout session during the “NATO Engages: Brussels Summit Dialogue” at the NATO Summit 2018 tests out new immersive training environment technology. The breakout session included a formal presentation on NATO’s Concept for the Protection of Civilians and provided a hands-on demonstration supporting the recently approved concept. NATO’s Concept for the Protection of Civilians aims to set out a coherent, consistent and integrated approach to protect civilians in NATO and NATO-led operations, missions and other mandated activities.
