The Inter-American Air Forces Academy (IAAFA) held their 75th Anniversary Gala Dinner March 15, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas. Maj. Gen. Jon A. Norman, U.S. Southern Command, Chief of Staff, was the guest speaker for the event. The dinner occurs during the annual Western Hemisphere Exchange Symposium (WHES) hosted by IAAFA in 2018. Annually the WHES is hosted by either U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, or the U.S. Army and brings partner nations from 20 Latin-American countries together to explore topics ranging from disaster relief, anti-gang, interdiction, counter-drug operations, and airflow strategies.
