Military officials and delegates from 20 partner nations toured the City of San Antonio Emergency Operations Center in San Antonio, Texas March 14, 2018 as part of the Western Hemisphere Exchange Symposium (WHES). The new $24.5 Million, 35,000sf Emergency Operations Center and data center was developed on a seven-acre site to serve the City of San Antonio and Bexar County. The WHES is hosted annually by either U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, or the U.S. Army and brings partner nations from 20 Latin-American countries together to explore topics ranging from disaster relief, anti-gang, interdiction, counter-drug operations, and airflow strategies. This year's event was hosted by IAAFA at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. (U.S. Air Force photo by Andrew C. Patterson)
