    Marine Rotational Force - Darwin

    An Australian Defence Force Solider, with 3 Combat Engineer Regiment, jumps off of an obstacle at Noumea, New Caledonia, May 15, 2018. U.S. Marines, Sailors and Australian Defence Force personnel participated in exercise Croix Du Sud, a multi-national humanitarian assistance and disaster relief, a non-combatant evacuation operation and a stability and security operations field training exercise hosted by the French Armed Forces. The Marines are a part of Marine Rotational Force - Darwin, established by former U.S. President Barack Obama and former Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard in 2011 to build and strengthen partnerships in the Pacific region.
