180702-N-JO245-242 ATLANTIC OCEAN (July 2, 2018) Boatswain’s Mate Seaman Caleb Cobb, left, and Boatswain’s Mate Seaman Miguel Lezama-Vargas secure a MH-60R Seahawk helicopter from the “Vipers” of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 48 aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Forrest Sherman (DDG 98). Forrest Sherman is underway for a scheduled deployment as part of the Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group. With Harry S. Truman as the flagship, deploying strike group assets include staffs, ships and aircraft of Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 8, Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 28 and Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 1; as well as the Sachsen-class German Frigate FGS Hessen (F 221).
