MANILA (June 27, 2018) Sailors assigned to the forward-deployed aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76), pack food boxes scheduled to be delivered to Mount Mayon volcanic eruption victims during a community project with the Republic of the Philippines National Response and Logistics Management Services. More than 200 Ronald Reagan Sailors participated in eight community projects sponsored by the ship's Command Religious Ministries Department during a scheduled port visit to Manila, June 26-30. Ronald Reagan, the flagship of Carrier Strike Group 5, provides a combat-ready force that protects and defends the collective maritime interests of its allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific region.
