MANILA (June 29, 2018) Sailors assigned to the forward-deployed aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76), pose for a photo with a resident of "Little Sisters of the Poor," a community home for elderly citizens of Manila, during a community service project. More than 200 Ronald Reagan Sailors participated in eight community projects sponsored by the ship's Command Religious Ministries Department during a scheduled port visit to Manila, June 26-30. Ronald Reagan, the flagship of Carrier Strike Group 5, provides a combat-ready force that protects and defends the collective maritime interests of its allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific region.
