180702-N-IE405-1072 SAN DIEGO (July 2, 2018) Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD) Command Master Chief Patrick Mangaran tests out the vision impairment goggles, simulating a blood alcohol level of .08 percent, during a safety stand down hosted by volunteers and personnel from the Drug and Alcohol Program Advisor (DAPA) department prior to the Fourth of July holiday. The NMCSD DAPA team set up an interactive display and educated staff, patients, and visitors in efforts to raise awareness and combat alcohol and drug related incidents.
