Sgt. Joel Cerda, a flight line collateral duty quality assurance representative with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 165 and a Chicago native, aligns a rotor head to be reattached to an MV-22B Osprey aboard Marine Corps Air Station Miramar Sept. 7. A rotor head holds the three blades located on each side of an Osprey together. VMM-165 transitioned to a tiltrotor squadron from a helicopter squadron after phasing out the CH-46E Sea Knights in favor of the Osprey in March 2011.
