Daniel Reilly, Bravo Company, 1st Battalion, 182nd Infantry Regiment, Massachusetts Army National Guard, and Winchester, Mass., native, received the Order of Saint Maurice award on Forward Operating Base Gardez, Paktya province, Afghanistan, Aug. 29. The award officially inducts the recipient into the National Infantry Association and honors the highest standards of integrity, moral character, professional competence and dedication to duty.
