RENO, Nev. (June 19, 2018) Capt. Ryan Heilman from the USS Nevada (SSBN-773) explains submarine navigation to Ronald McDonald House operations manager Kimberly Pickens. Heilman, from Great Falls, Mont., led Sailors from the Nevada and Meteorology and Oceanography Command to help with various chores at the Ronald McDonald House during Navy Week in Reno. Navy Week programs serve as the U.S. Navy's principal outreach effort into areas of the country that lack a significant Navy presence, helping Americans understand that their Navy is deployed around the world, around the clock, ready to defend America at all times.
