(June 18, 2018) Electrician's Mate Fireman Brandon Turner, left, from Annapolis, Maryland, and Electrician's Mate Second Class Gregory Sturm, right, from Manitowoc, Wisconsin, assigned to the aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77) sort non-perishable food items for future distribution at the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore. As a birthday tribute to the ship's namesake, and representing his famous "Thousand Points of Light" speech, approximately 1,000 GHWB crew members took part in one of the largest single-day community relation (COMREL) events at 44 different locations throughout the Hampton Roads area.
