Without Roberts and her contracting officer counterpart constantly checking in with the medical and engineering teams and purchasing supplies from the local economy, each of the sites’ missions would fail, she said. “We are up early and out there talking with vendors getting the engineers and medics all the supplies they need to help the community.” This is the first of four humanitarian assistance engagements that make up PAC ANGEL 18.
