Electronics Technician Submarine Communications 2nd Class Carolos Duque of Santa Ana, Calif. sorts through food at the Ronald McDonald House during Navy Week in Reno. The Ronald McDonald House is a non-profit organization that offers a safe place for families to stay when their children are in the hospital with long term conditions. Duque was part of a team of Sailors from the USS Nevada (SSBN-773) who volunteered. Navy Week programs serve as the U.S. Navy's principal outreach effort into areas of the country that lack a significant Navy presence, helping Americans understand that their Navy is deployed around the world, around the clock, ready to defend America at all times.
