U.S. Air National Guard Senior Airman Andre Coville, a pararscuemen from the California Air National Guard's 131st Rescue Squadron, teaches basic swimming instruction, water confidence and safety to a member of the Mongolian Armed Forces during Khaan Quest 2018 near Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, June 17. The purpose of Khaan Quest 18 is to gain United Nations training for the participants through the conduct of realistic peace support operations, to include increasing and improving United Nations Peace Keeping Operations interoperability and military relationships among the participating nations. The 25 Mongolian Armed Forces peacekeepers are slated to deploy to the South Sudan where they will be tasked to conduct emergency response via boat operations on the Nile River.
